A-List Wish-Lists
From Fred Leighton to Faraway Places

The smell of pine needles is in the air, candy canes seem to be everywhere (including stomachaches after eating five in a row), and your mother is calling to see if that shopping list is complete. Yup, the season of spending has arrived.

And while not all of us can charge on American Express Black cards like P. Diddy at Bergdorf’s, that doesn’t mean our lists aren’t long.  So, psychoPEDIA caught up with some friends -- previous contributors and artists we’ve interviewed over the past year, and asked, ‘What do you want for Christmas?’ In their own words:

Adam Green – Musician
I want these brown Prada lace up shoes -- size 9.5. I have them in black already and they’re really comfortable, I mean I walked 100 blocks in ‘em with no calluses on my feet!  It’s because of the futurist rubber soles, I know it!  I want ‘em in brown now too, because I have a lot of brown clothes, and the brown shoes would go better than black.

Lauren Davis – Contributing Editor, Vogue
I would love luggage (and of course many glamorous trips to take them to!) Anything that sparkles… Fred Leighton earrings, Tom Binns necklaces and a Leiber clutch! A fur-trapper hat (I lose one every year). Last but not least, a Barnes & Noble gift card is the way to my heart!

Kristin Vincent – Owner, Home Sweet Home
I would love Santa to bring me a Serato DJ setup. Finally I wouldn’t have to lug records up five flights of stairs! It’s the equivalent of having five-plus cases of records, but in the size of your purse! (It all fits into a computer actually, but the size is the same!)

Brian Reyes – Designer
For Christmas I would love a hiking trip to Patagonia. It’s a great mix of climate/landscapes, culture, and adventure. One of the few unspoiled territories to enjoy in the world, and a great place to be inspired.

Amy Gunther – Owner of KCDC Skate Shop
What I really want for Christmas are tickets to see The Rodeo at Madison Square Garden in January.  I’ve been waiting for them to come to NYC for months!  Also, I’d really love one-carat diamond earrings.

Alex Corporan – East Coast Promotions and Public Relations for Etnies Footwear
I want Play Station III. I just moved into a new apartment. It’s cozy and the place is wireless, so I can play with my friends from all over the world. The technology of Play Station III is so amazing and new.
