Last Friday night, London-based electro-pop group Hot Chip played a free concert at Pier 17 in Manhattan. For the most recent edition of the summer-long Seaport Music Festival, England’s latest import performed for a crowd of nearly 8,000. And by the sound of it, the audience’s salt-tipped tongues couldn’t get enough.
