D2D Album Review: Klaxons -- Xanvalleys

The Klaxons are the latest darlings from the U.K. (East London, to be exact), composing tunes reminiscent of the early-‘90s, when big jeans were, well, big, and everyone was screaming “RAVE ON!” Comprised of Jamie Reynolds, James Righton and Simon Taylor, they look and sound like they could be the little cousins of the Happy Mondays who finally grew up and wanted to make their own edgy rock music. Modular Records will release their debut EP, Xanvalleys, on October 17th. Standout tracks, “Gravity’s Rainbow”, “Atlantis to Interzone” and “4 Horsemen of 2012,” are not to be missed.

See: The Klaxons perform “Atlantis to Interzone” at Brooklyn’s Studio B.

Hear: "Gravity’s Rainbow,” from the Klaxons’ soon to be released Xanvalleys, exclusively available and free for download on Dusk2Dawn.
