BROOKLYN Ghostland Observatory

Ghostland Observatory – the latest import from Austin, TX, the self-proclaimed “live music capital of the world” – heated up Brooklyn’s McCarren Park Pool last weekend – performing to a rain-drenched crowd with rays of electro-shine and robot-raunchiness. A pig-tailed Aaron Behrens fronted the band on vocals, while a cape-wielding Thomas Ross Turner backed him up on drums. Together, the two-piece duo brought southern charm to Williamsburg. In the end, fans and umbrellas agreed: Ghostland Observatory is well worth getting wet for!
