Slithering their way through the indie synth-pop jungle is a small band from upstate New York, who has steadily gained a loyal following. Snakes Say Hisss!, the raunchy, reptilian duo comprised of Jamie Ayers and Sam Skarstad, recently hit the basement of Don Pedros in Brooklyn and delivered a show that kept toes tapping throughout their punk-infused performance. Though supported solely by a guitar and microphone, Snakes Say Hisss! more than made up for a lack of back-up – by the end of their sultry set the crowd was left screaming for more.
